When shopping for a bunk bed or loft bed, first consider the person that will be sleeping in the bed. For children, consider safety above all other aspects of the bed. Teenagers or young adults may want to focus on the size or the style of the bed more so than safety worries. When dealing with children, be sure that the child is ready to upgrade to a "grown up" bed before making the move. Children should be at least 35 inches long or two years of age before he or she should be moved to a bunk bed. Also, ground rules should be made regarding the proper conduct involving the bunk bed, since most injuries occur due to roughhousing or horseplay.
The best place to put your beds would be flat spot (to avoid that is exposed to enough sunlight. Also, align the beds in straight rows in order to make the watering process easier. This will also prove to be useful later if you are planning to install an irrigation system.
If you are after a softer look, consider comforter sets with more thickness. A floral pattern will definitely soften the room.
Daybeds are not what you might think of in the sofa beds of today. They are generally the size of a single bed and they do not fold out. Before, you need to go to a furniture store to get your cheap daybeds, as they would have them on sale. Today you can look for cheap daybeds online and while you might have some problems looking for them, you can look for them as cheap sofa beds. This is because some time ago, the old-fashioned daybeds were replaced by sofa beds. The difference is of course that they do not fold up and they are far more comfortable because they do not have the metal bar where you would be sleeping, oftentimes located in the back area.
